Once upon a time, between the ages of 19 and 23, I performed duo and group acrobatic acts and trapeze acts at private parties, corporate events, and festivals with local circus and entertainment companies in Atlanta, GA and in Nashville, TN.
Since my wrist injury in 2016, I've been focused on writing and developing future film productions that incorporate circus arts. Last summer I directed a music video, Plastic Daisies, with some of my performing artist friends.
While working for circus and entertainment companies I was often hired as a roaming character or a living statue to interact with people at events. Check out my short film Absurditea! to meet some of the characters I developed myself and to see some of my acting within film.
When I was 8 I witnessed the talent of a one-man-band street performing artists in San Francisco and ever since, my dream has been to be a one-person-band myself. I have been writing songs, singing, playing, and learning new instruments since I was 13. I’ve performed live music - original songs and covers and musical spoken word poetry in coffee shops, restaurants, event spaces, at weddings, and busking on city streets. I also wrote and performed four songs as a one-person-band for my PTSD fashion runway shows in 2017 and 2018.
In 2018 I lost my voice and shifted from live entertainment singing to sound design recording what I like to call “musical narratives” that incorporate music, narration, spoken word poetry, sound effects, and foley arts with minimal singing. I’ve implemented such musical narrative storytelling soundtracks within my performing arts act “The Allegory of Bastet and the Vermin,” which I am currently adapting into a musical narrative screenplay, in my short film 'Absurditea!', and have several other musical narrative shorts and feature film productions in development.
My voice is coming back and I have also recently begun writing, playing, learning, and singing a new set list for live entertainment!
